ABOUT ME
Hi,
Hey, I’m Rob, a tattooartist in Hamburg, Germany with a great passion for anime and manga.
For over 7 years, I have been working with you to create tattoos that capture your favorite characters, meaningful scenes, and epic moments from a wide variety of anime and manga. My work currently focuses primarily on fine, detailed lines and elaborate shading with small color highlights. In the future, however, I would like to create more and more larger, powerful compositions with stronger contrasts. So feel free to get in touch if you prefer thicker lines or other styles for your anime tattoos. 🙂
Anime and manga are more than just motifs to me. As a child of the 90s, I grew up with iconic series such as One Piece and Naruto. They accompanied me, shaped me, and continue to inspire me to this day. It is precisely this feeling that I want to make visible with my tattoos: memories, emotions, and art that accompanies you and really means something.
So if you have a great idea in mind and would like a personal tattoo from me, I’ll be happy to give you professional advice on everything you need to know.

APPOINTMENTS
Appointments can be booked from January 1, 2026 for June (limited places), July, and August 2026 via a simple booking system. I will continue to use the old form for May appointments from January 1, as I want to avoid any conflicts. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at animetattoos@robcuello.com.

Of course, I’m no expert, but I’ve been there twice for several weeks now. This has allowed me to gain my own experiences, which I would simply like to share with you. Maybe you’ll find some extra information that’s useful to you. 🙂
HEALING
The perfect healing is a combination of various factors, such as:
– your individual skin, which may absorb the color better or worse
– the chosen body part, which may wear out faster
– the color; the lighter the tone, the paler the effect on the skin may be
– the design, strong shades, black areas, colored and white highlights hold the motif together
– the size, especially faces should be of a suitable size
– the care you provide shortly after the session and in the long term in the following years
– the skills and experience of the artist
It is a very complex topic, but you can be sure that I will advise and accompany you before the appointment, on the day of the tattoo, and in the weeks that follow.
This is the only way I have been able to build up a great customer base, because ultimately, your satisfaction is the most important thing for me.

Your health comes first, which is why I attach great importance to the materials I use and the hygiene before, during and after my work.
It’s quite simple:

I will contact you as soon as possible and give you detailed information about the motive, body placement and price.
You are unique and so is every artist.
That’s why I want to create a unique and individual design for you, which makes you happy every day.
The human skin is very sensitive. In order to assure you a smooth procedure, please follow these recommendations:
• Avoid alcohol in the days before, as it dilutes the blood and can have a negative effect on the process and the final result!
• Please let me know in advance if you take any special or blood-thinning medication!
• Make sure you had enough sleep!
• Eat well and stay hydrated!
