PROCEDURE
• Leave the protective film on your skin for 2–3 days (Showering – Yes / Bathing – No)
• If the film starts to peel off before then, it’s best to remove it completely
• If small openings form at the top edge of the film where water could potentially seep in, please remove the film completely as well
• If redness appears along the edge of the film, please remove the film immediately
• After the specified number of days, carefully lift a corner of the film in the shower and slowly peel it off toward the skin
• Adhesive residue may sometimes remain on the skin; this will disappear within the next few days
• Wash off any residue from the solution and dye—without using soap, shampoo, or shower gel—using gentle circular motions shortly after removing the film
• After showering, gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel or paper towel (Do not rub!)
• Leave the tattoo alone for a short time, then begin aftercare
• Apply a thin layer of cream regularly, 3–5 times a day (the tattoo must not dry out!)
• Week by week, you can reduce the frequency of daily application
• Recommended care products: Bepanthen Antiseptic Wound Cream or Pegasus Tattoo Cream from the pharmacy
• Don’t worry about residue or scabbing—these will come off over the next few days as you apply cream or while showering (avoid scratching at all costs!)
• After 4–5 weeks, the tattoo will be fully healed; please email me a photo, as FineLine tattoos sometimes need to be touched up
• A one-time touch-up is free within the first 6 months

GENERAL INFORMATION
– Loose-fitting clothing is recommended around the tattooed area for the next few weeks (be careful with sock and pant waistbands)
– If the tattoo uses more color or black, make sure it doesn’t stick to your clothes; otherwise, you’ll need to carefully soak it in warm water in the shower or sink and peel it off without damaging the tattoo
– Avoid dirt and contaminants (e.g., from being touched by other people, work, or pets)
– No swimming, exercise, or heavy sweating in general for the next 4 weeks
– Exposure to intense sunlight or visits to a tanning bed are also off-limits during this time
– Going forward, care for your tattoos with body lotion, aloe vera, coconut oil, or a tattoo care cream
– Avoid sunburn by using strong sunscreen or appropriate clothing (only after the tattoo has fully healed)
